Wycombe District Ramblers

Walking in the Chilterns

This website is in a transitional state - further development/improvement, in an effort to help fulfil one of Ramblers' objectives, namely attract new members, will be proportional to the amount of constructive criticism and number of suggestions received.

First contribution - a facility to enable walks leaders to check available dates and submit details of their walks.

Input regarding content, layout and facilities that would be useful to members, both actual and prospective, is required. To get an idea of what other groups are doing you may wish to check some of the names listed in the 'Other Groups' panel, to the left. For the really keen, you could select the the link to the National website, use the 'find your local group' facility to identify different groups and then 'Google' them to see what they are doing. If you get any ideas, please let me know so that I may put them to the committee.

The 'Log-In' page enables registered contributors, e.g. Walk Leaders, Walks Co-ordinators,  Footpath Monitors and Committee Members add content to the site.

Additional contributors are required; a photographer to submit some photos to replace the colours below, also articles of interest etc. Please identify any who one who could become a registered contributor.

Many thanks,

Pat Endacott
