Welcome to the Wycombe & District Ramblers.  We are a friendly, informal group of around 300 members who enjoy walking in the beautiful Chiltern countryside (AONB) and surrounding area.  We have a comprehensive program of walks throughout the year.  These consist of  moderate 5 to 7.5 mile walks, and more leisurely ones of 4 to 6 miles, on Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday mornings.   See "Our Walks".  To get a better idea of what we offer, take a look at "Recent Walks" where our leaders have written blogs and provided photos of these activities. You are welcome to try out our walks as a non-member, though regular walkers are expected to join the Ramblers Association, Britain's walking charity.

As well as our walks program we occasionally have social events such as a summer barbeque, a Christmas lunch/dinner, and a long weekend away. Our newsletter (called "Pathway") ceased in September 2024 but issues can be viewed under the heading "Group Matters".  Articles and photos of Group and Members' walking holidays, previously in Pathway, can now be found under "Group Matters" too.

Walking with us will provide you with good company, the chance to make new friends, the opportunity to volunteer (as walk leader or footpath checker) and best of all to enjoy our wonderful countryside in all seasons and all weathers.
